About Lucinda Rose

Lucinda Rose is the author of Blood Child and Shadow’s Tale, two paranormal mysteries that delve into the eerie crossroads of history, suspense, and the supernatural. A proud Appalachian and autistic author, Lucinda brings a unique voice to her storytelling—one shaped by deep curiosity, sensory awareness, and a love for the overlooked details that hide in the shadows.

She lives in the mountains of Southwest Virginia, where the land’s rich folklore and haunted landscapes inspire much of her work. An educator since 2006, Lucinda holds multiple teaching certifications and has spent nearly two decades in the classroom. Her academic background in history, paired with her fascination with the unknown, drives her to uncover the forgotten stories that still whisper beneath the surface of time.

When she isn’t writing or teaching, Lucinda can be found gardening, exploring mountain trails with her dog Luke, or wandering through old cemeteries in search of untold tales. After all, who knows what lies in the darkest roots?

I agree about books filling your life with meaning (other things do too lol), but I can’t imagine a day without reading a good book.

  3. Hi Lucinda

I’m an author and I was wondering if you would be interested in reviewing my latest book. Set during WWII and called We Go Again, it centres around a small group of soldiers in France. It deals with the relationship between soldiers and the effects that war can have on a person’s state of mind. There’s even a smidgen of romance within its pages and it touches upon the less well-known roles that women had during the conflict.

If you’re a member of the Kindle clan I can get a copy of the book file sent over to you; otherwise I’m more than happy to get a paperback copy shoved through your letterbox.

You can see the cover of the book on my website.
